The Brentari Hermann farm, located in Predaia, Smarano (Val di Non), is a family-run business dedicated to the cultivation of apples and cherries.
Thanks to the Rural Development Program 2014–2020 of the Autonomous Province of Trento, and in particular to the approval of the funding application for operation 4.1.1. “Support for investments in agricultural holdings,” it was possible to purchase: a grid-connected photovoltaic system, rain cover, harvesting cart, and manure spreader trailer.
The harvesting cart is mainly intended to ensure safe working conditions during harvesting, pruning, thinning, and the opening and closing of anti-hail nets and rain covers, as it is a certified and approved piece of equipment.
We installed a photovoltaic system to make our agriturismo more eco-friendly and to contribute to the production of clean energy.
The rain cover is a system that prevents cherries from splitting, thus ensuring a healthy and high-quality product.
The manure spreader was purchased to facilitate the supply of organic matter, which is essential for maintaining good soil quality.
